Try this hot or cold. It is perfect when I crave just a little bit of indulgent sweets without all the calories. The fruit notes are just enough to satisfy my sweet tooth. When I make it as a hot tea I add a touch of creamer which really brings out the flavors.

Not a fan. The cherry flavor was too strong and it tasted like cough medicine. I'm going to see if I can blend another mild black tea with it to tone it down. (3 mins @ 212°F)

Update to my previous review below: When hot, results were similar to my previous review, using the ingredients in my 23 June 2021 communiTEA packet this time. However, when the tea was warm, very heavy cherry flavor overpowered others, even the rose, to the point that I couldn’t finish the whole mug. I love cherry, but this was just too much in-your-face! 19 April 2021 Review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Since I had an Adagio sample pouch on the shelf already, I decided to use it for an even-steven and fair “all players are present” communiTEA review this morning. Strong cherry aromas were noted. I used 3 grams of tea from my pouch, for a 12 ounce steep. I steep dark oolongs at 200°F. I pulled the steep at four minutes, when color depth was to my liking. When hot, moderate rose flavors were noted. Cherry and almond flavors were mild. Tart rose hip flavors were mild. The oolong provided a smooth mouthfeel. I added some sugar to allow flavors to bloom and sweeten the mix. When warm, mild marzipan almond flavors were noted. Rose flavors were strong and forward. Moderate cherry flavors were noted. Cinnamon tongue zings and flavors were moderate. A little Rose flavoring is authentic in the making of marzipan. But in this blend, the rose and cherry overpowered the marzipan flavor. (4 mins @ 200ºF, ⅜ tsp sugar)

This is the most amazing tea I've ever had in my entire life. Cherry and Marzipan are two of my absolutely favorite flavors, and I had never even THOUGHT to combine the two <3

I have heard rumors that this tea is going to be made illegal in 5 states and completely banned in most of Europe. Why? Because this blend is THAT sinfully delicious!! To put it into perspective, I usually go out of my way to avoid cherry, yet I wish I had a room in my house for stockpiling Cherry Marzipan Oolong. When you open up the packet, you are met with a strong cherry aroma which, at first, was a huge turn-off for me. But I was brave! As it was brewing, a bit more of the other notes came out. I detected almond, cherry, cinnamon, and even the oolong base. The combination is really amazing. Wanna know how it tastes? Just like it smells. An indulgent combination of nutty, fruit flavors with a hint of cinnamon and delicious oolong. None of the flavors stand out more than the others, especially when the tea is cooled a bit. Adding sugar brings everything out even more and the almond and cinnamon notes becomes a little more dominant. It really is dessert in a cup! Making it even better is the fact that you can brew this tea more than once and it still tastes just as delicious. I got three cups from the CommuniTEA packet and they all retained the same great flavor.

Ingredients & Lore

blended with oolong tea, apple pieces, cinnamon, rose hips, cherries, natural almond flavor, natural wild cherry flavor & rose petals

First grown in China 6,000 years ago, the earliest recorded commentary was in "History of Plants" by Greek author, Theophrastus, in 300 BCE. The Old Northern French word, cherise, and the Latin, cerasum, are the origins of the English word, cherry, for it was the lusty Henry VII who introduced them to Great Britain after first tasting them in Flanders. In New Netherland, a settlement in Brooklyn under Dutch rule in the early 1600s, the cherry first appeared in the U.S. and today, they're grown in abundance in Michigan making us one of the world's top 10 producers.
