Also known as the cassia marilandica or locust plant, these leaves have commonly been used for its laxative properties. Unfortunately, my digestive system seems to be particularly stubborn and I didn't see much improvement or impact from this inclussion. It doesn't add much for or against the flavor of the tea as a whole, so if this IS effective for you (yay, you!!), it's easy to hide without impacting the profile of your tea. ”
