Native to South America, Lemon Verbena or bee brush, has become a widely popular herb due to it's medicinal properties. It is thought to have the ability to reduce inflammation, boost the immune system and calm the stomach. Additionally it is used to reduce fevers, combat congestion as well as aid in weight loss. As the name suggests, it offers a citrus flavor that is herbaceous and more mild than that of lemongrass.

“ My poor plant can't keep up with me harvesting so I took a chance and like the other spices and herbs they have the quality is amazing. Price point is great as well. This lemon verbena will not disappoint. ”

“ Such a lovely, light citrus-y scent as I opened the bag! Gives a great herbal lemon taste to teas and cooking. I use in tea and in soups. Such a wonderful herb! ”

“ Lemon Verbena is a very tricky flavor. It is citrusy, as you might guess from the name, but I struggle with finding appropriate citrusy teas. This one actually tastes really good with Ceylon Sonata. I would recommend only buying small amounts of this at a time as I think it'll last you a long time. I would recommend it because it's a good flavor, but again, very hard to pair with other flavors. ”
