Keemun Rhapsody in bulk available for wholesale. Black tea from the Anhui province of China. Perhaps the most famous of Chinese varieties, prized for its rich, toasty flavor, mineral flinty notes and smoky, sometimes incense aroma. Our Keemun Rhapsody is a complex showing of an excellent quality Keemun. Toasty, biscuity aroma with a browned apple sweetness. Earthy fruit flavor, notes of aromatic lychee fruit. Lingering perfumy smokiness long after the cup is finished. Grown at approximately 1,200 meters.

This tea contains a high level of caffeine | Steep at 212° for 3-5 minutes.

The traditional definition of a rhapsody is an epic poem - or at least part of one - that can be read in a single sitting. In music, it's a single piece characterized by several moving, free-flowing and related pieces, not unlike pieces of a story or poem. Famous rhapsodies today include George Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue," which was featured in Disney's Fantasia 2000; Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody," one of the best-selling singles of all time; and, of course, this lovely tea.

How long have you been growing tea and what got you started?
I have worked in tea for 24 years. When I was 18 my family was very poor. We could not have the chance to buy tea to drink. My parents like teas. So I decided to work in tea.
Can you describe a typical day out in the field?
As I am poor I have to work hard to earn more money. So I work very hard from 6am in the morning till 6pm in the evening. Sometimes I like to work overnight so as to get more money. My main work is picking tea leaves in the mountain. It takes long time to finish plucking, as there are many mountains.
What is your favorite part of growing tea?
The happiest part is when I taste the keemun black tea after hard making. I can also let my parents to have the chance to drink a little bit. I am happy when seeing the smile from their faces.
