Known as "kuti", tea made from coffee leaves has been consumed in Ethiopia and Indonesia for centuries. Alone, it has an herbaceous and earthy flavor with sweetgrass notes, similar to green tea. Coffee leaf tea contains mangiferin, a compound normally found in mangoes, which has been shown to fight inflammation. Each loose leaf tea sample makes about 8-10 cups of tea. This set includes:

arabica earl grey - We have taken the flavors of bergamot and blended it with the leaves from the Arabica plant.
arabica chai - Blended with some familiar flavors, layered upon leaves of the Arabica plant, or coffee.
arabica lemon turmeric - A unique blend of coffee leaves, turmeric and citrus, this is one drink that packs a bright flavor punch.
arabica mocha - Our Arabic Mocha tea blends together the leaves of the coffee plant with the flavors of the beans.

I've had the time to sample each tea without any cream or sweetener. Each tea is light in flavor but that is not necessarily a terrible thing. Arabica Earl Grey: I thought this was the most flavorful and fragrant. It has a refreshing and 'clean' taste. I really enjoyed this one. I would order this separately. Arabica Mocha: There is enough mocha flavor without it being too overpowering. I've tried other brands and they were not as enjoyable as this. This is a nice afternoon pick me up. I would order this separately. Arabica Lemon Turmeric: Very fragrant. Super light in taste. Adagio has other citrus & turmeric options. This was okay. A teaspoon and a half is needed for a cup, in my opinion. Arabica Chai: This is a great option to introduce someone to chai or a better option if you really want a super light chai flavor. Chai can be overpowering for some people. This delivers subtle flavor without being too strong.

I have only had the Arabica Earl Gray. It was overwhelmingly bergamot in smell and taste so I am not certain yet as to the flavor imparted by the Arabica. I will come back to my review after I have tried the other three varieties and update it accordingly. This tea is quite good for bergamot lovers. I tried the Arabica Mocha. I did not get a sense of a coffee taste but it wasn't bad. The Arabica came through more than it did in the Arabica Earl Gray. There was an earthy, sweet flavor that was quite enjoyable. The Arabica Chai is my favorite to date. The spices are subtle with a sweetgrass undertone. A nice cup to relax with in the evening. The Arabica Lemon Turmeric is quite nice. The Arabica softly sweetens the lemon. I am a fan.
