“ I waited a long time to purchase the ModerniTEA. I finally bought it to use at work and I am so glad I did! So far I have used it by cold steeping/infusing tea leaves for enjoying in the early afternoon while I am at work. I love the thick protective travel case/cozy that came with it and I keep the ModerniTEA in the case unless I am filling it up or washing it. I was a little concerned about it being glass since I was using it on the go, but the glass is double walled, very thick and the protective sleeve helps eliminate condensation friction so it doesn't slip out of my hands. I add ice, water and the tea leaves around 6am, then I place the ModerniTEA in the sleeve/cozy. The tea has been perfectly steeped by lunch time and the ice has melted, but I pour the tea into another cup full of ice to drink. It might be a little messy to use this as a cup because the rubber circular insulators around the screw on top and bottom are in the way and would probably need to be removed first. The only thing is I would like this to have a bigger capacity, but it does work to steep the leaves a second time for enjoying at the end of the day. After pouring in another cup I then just refill the steeper with water and ice (if convenient) and place the ModerniTEA back in the sleeve. I am so glad I purchased this for convenience and on top of that it is so sleek and beautiful! I feel spoiled even though my tea time is on the go. I add 3-4 teaspoons of loose tea to the infuser basket. That is enough to steep twice for me depending on the tea. ”

“ It’s beautiful. It works. But it’s quite finicky. I think it needs to warm up before it seals properly. Not sure - I’ve tried a few times and in different ways but still have problems with leakage. But it looks very nice and functions well enough as an office piece as long as you’re not tossing it in a backpack and expecting a good seal. ”

“ Thing is easy to use and clean. My only issue is for some reason water gets trapped in the lid with the basket attached. You have to shake it for a while for all the water to leak out of it. Really annoying. ”
