“ This is a geniously designed pitcher. Not only is it airtight enough to lay on its side but every part of it disassembles for thorough cleaning. It is works best when filling to the top that way no matter how it is placed the tea will properly steep. If you do not fill to the top then I recommend not placing on its side since there might not be enough water to cover your tea. Also, when washing it be sure to pay attention to the white silicone gasket. If it is removed to thoroughly clean it, be sure to pay attention how it goes before removal so that you replace it properly, otherwise it will no longer be air tight and will leak. ”

“ I have tried to love this pitcher. The concept is great. The infuser is well thought out and the bottom comes off for easier cleaning. It is very stylish and does fit in the door of the frig. My issue is the lid. I was excited that you could lay it on its side in a crowded frig. The lid does not line up properly to actually fully close. Friends on the chat have given some hints to have it line up. I am afraid that it will break if I keep trying to make it line up. So if the lid actually wasn't a challenge , this would be a 5 . ”
